Gadgets have surround us. We are nowadays totally dependent on gadgets. The main problem most of the people face nowadays because of dependence on gadgets is weak memory. All of us whether we are student, businessman or homemaker face problems in memorize the things. Strong memory depends on the health and liveliness of brain. One should do following activities to improve memory and mental performance.
The more you work out your brain, the better you will be able process and remember information. We should keep our brain active by playing brain games like puzzle such as sudoku. These games increase memory i.e mental concentration and strength of thinking.
Healthy mind rests in healthy body.
Everyone should exercise daily. Physical exercise helps brain to stay sharp. Exercise increases oxygen to brain and reduces the risk of disorders that lead to memory loss. Aerobic exercise is must to do before doing any other work after getting up in morning.
Most of people do not get sufficient sleep. As the result mind can not think properly. Memory, creativity, problem solving ability, and critical thinking all get compromised when brain do not get sufficient sleep. One should sleep for 7.5 to 9 hours a day for mind to be fresh. Also avoid screens for at least an hour before bed. Caffeine affects a lot on brain. It help people to wake in night, but has adverse effects on health, So one should avoid taking caffeine.
Time with Friends
People nowadays are more active on social media then in reality. They do not spend good time with friends physically. Everyone should spend good time with friends as it releases stress and makes mind fresh and active. One has to leave their comfort zone for family and friends when they need us, as then only when you are upset they will be there to help you out.
Laugh is best medicine.
Doctors also recommend their patients to be happy. Laughing reduces mental stress. We see people doing laughing exercise early morning in parks. As laughing releases cortisol and epinephrine hormones which is beneficial for health and spreads positive vibes. Listening to jokes and working out punch lines activates areas of the brain vital to learning and creativity. Sometimes laugh also give relief to your pain and mind feels more freely.
Just like are body needs fuel similarly our brain also need fuel for efficient working. It is often said that the type of food one eat, it thinks like that. One should eat green vegetables, fruits, salad, whole grains as all provide required proteins to body and also improve memory. Youngsters nowadays eat fast food on regular basis which has adverse effect on health and mind. One must not eat fast food at all. Eating fast food is reason to most of mental and physical problems such as- depression, obesity.
Everyone suffers from mental stress. Which is main reason for weak memory as one in stress can not think properly. Everyone should have proper stress check on themselves. A positive environment should be maintained around you all the time. There are different activities from which one can relax and get out of stress examples- listening music, dance, watching comedy… You should share problems with near dears as they help in releasing stress. Also, the best way of removing stress is being engaged in any work all the time so that your mind can’t able to get time to think about the problem.
